1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website suhner‑events.com (“Site”), which lists events hosted by SUHNER Schweiz AG (“SUHNER”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Site.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

The Site provides information about events organised by SUHNER. You may browse event details and register to attend events. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and to respect all applicable laws and regulations. You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its servers;
  • transmit viruses or other harmful code.

No user accounts are required or permitted to access the Site.

4. Event Registration and Cancellation

4.1 Registration

Event registrations are accepted on a first‑come, first‑served basis. By registering for an event, you reserve a place for yourself.

4.2 Cancellation

If you cannot attend an event, please cancel your registration as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event are free of charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event start time may result in a cancellation fee of up to 100 % of any applicable costs incurred for your registration (e.g. catering or logistical expenses). 4.3 Changes and Cancellations by SUHNER

We reserve the right to modify, reschedule or cancel events at our discretion. If we cancel an event, we will notify registered participants by email and endeavour to offer an alternative. SUHNER is not liable for any costs or damages arising from event changes or cancellations beyond those expressly described in these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, photographs and videos—is the property of SUHNER or its licensors and is protected by Swiss and international intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for personal, non‑commercial use. Any other use (including reproduction, modification or distribution) requires our prior written consent.

6. Links to Third‑Party Sites

The Site may contain links to third‑party websites for your convenience. These sites are not operated or controlled by SUHNER, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. When you leave our Site via a link, you do so at your own risk; these Terms no longer apply, and the third party’s terms and policies govern your use of their site.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and event information are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind. While we strive to ensure accuracy and availability, SUHNER does not warrant that:

  • the Site will be uninterrupted or error‑free;

This disclaimer does not affect any warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Swiss law, SUHNER is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including loss of data or profits) arising out of or in connection with the use of the Site or participation in events. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, death or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Swiss law.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by Swiss substantive law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is at the registered office of SUHNER Schweiz AG, unless mandatory legal provisions prescribe another venue.

10. Data Protection

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Data Protection Statement, which forms part of these Terms. SUHNER processes personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By registering for an event or using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in the Data Protection Statement.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, our services or for other reasons. We will post the updated Terms on the Site. We will notify you of material changes by email (if you have registered for an event) or via notice on the Site. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Site.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held by a court to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or replaced to reflect the intent of the parties to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
